昼間よりも撮影に深く没頭でき、ファインダー越しに観る街の灯りから、どこか安心感の様な温もりを感じていたからだったと思う。

眠れない夜、雨上がりの夜、ほろ酔いの夜、家に帰りたくない夜、
バイト終わりの夜、クリスマスの夜、雪の夜、よく夜道を徘徊していた。
あてはなく、ついでに金もなかったが、写真は撮れた。
そんな夜の一幕。

I think it was because I could immerse myself more deeply in shooting than during the day, and I felt a warmth, like a sense of security, from the city lights I saw through the viewfinder.

I often wandered the streets at night: sleepless nights, nights after the rain, nights when I was tipsy, nights when I didn't want to go home, nights after work, Christmas nights, snowy nights.
I had no destination and no money, but I was able to take photos.
