What Is Youth?
One day, I asked my father, “What was your youth like?” and all he said was, “Working part-time at a flower shop.”
If my child were to ask me the same question, what would I say?
Could I recount my slowly fading memories with the same intensity I felt back then?
It was at that moment I decided to create a book that I could confidently hand over, saying, “Here it is!”
Youth Landscape is a photo collection capturing my high school years—the time I truly consider my youth—spent in the photography club.
I made this book not for someone else, but for myself; yet I believe it contains scenes that will resonate with your own memories.
After all, I feel that youth is something you only recognize in hindsight.
